DMX started rapping around the late 1990s. The rapper released his debut album It's Hot and Hell was Dark the 19th of May, 1998. In the following years, he came out with several more albums like ... And Then There Was X and the Great Depression Year of the Dog... And Again Redemption of the Beast Grand Champ and Flesh of My Flesh Blood of My Blood. The album titled...And then was X, was nominated by The Grammy in 2001 for Best Rap Album in 2001. Along with his music professional career, he's participated in film projects such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds Always Die Alone Never Die Alone Bleeding Romeo Should Die Backstage beyond the Law Lockjaw The Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
